Update from ILLUMINATION Integrated Publications
August 2021 bulletin for contributing writers

Welcome to our monthly newsletter.
Apologies, we could not update you for a few months due to the extreme workload we experienced. The number of contributors has significantly increased. Now, more than 11,400 writers contribute to ILLUMINATION Integrated Publications.
Our virtual workspace, Slack, has 8,966 members engaging with each other meaningfully. Many new editors joined. I will introduce them via a post on Medium. We always need more volunteer editors. The purpose of this post is to update you on our progress. We make a continuous effort for our contributing writers to grow, gain new readers, and earn income on Medium. As I pointed out in this story, subscribers can produce 50 times better results than followers for freelance writers. I shared my experience on how I gained 100K subscribers in a decade. I included 12 powerful strategies, tactics, and techniques to create a solid mailing list. Developing a mailing list and posting newsletters are very important to increase your subscribers, who can be your regular readers.
Upon request, I created a connection list for our writers. This list is protected to use only by our registered writers. New members are joining. Please only provide information you want to share with fellow writers. Some of you may give only Medium profiles and other writing profiles to gain new followers. Participation is optional, of course.
We created a new “Starter Kit for Writers of ILLUMINATION Integrated Publications” serving as a one-stop shop for beginners. We transferred these to ILLUMINATION’s Blog to give more space to our writers on ILLUMINATION.
ILLUMINATION Book Chapters is serving many published authors and growing rapidly. We want our writers to become a published authors. You may start compiling your stories and convert them into book chapters. I provided this guide to get you started: How To Create A 30,000 Words E-book In A Month.
You can directly write for ILLUMINATION-Curated now. However, your stories must meet Medium curation guidelines. This publication is followed by discerning readers expecting high-quality content. If you have curated stories you can transfer them to this pub. By the way, curation rate for our writers increased more than 30% since our previous correspondence. This story was indicating our great progress in February.
It is excellent news that Medium rewarded the top 2,000 writers. Many of our writers received a bonus in April, May, June and July. I shared the progress in this story. Hopefully, Medium will introduce bonus schemes again.
We want our writers to qualify for the monthly bonus. I provided clear guidance on how to become a top writer in the shortest possible time. The key points are posting consistently and engaging with other writers.
The best way of being a top writer and earning significant money on Medium is writing viral stories. I provided practical guidance in this article. You may consider creating short-form stories among our publications to give a second life to your long-form stories. This can help you gain more reading times.
If you haven’t submitted a writer biography yet, please consider introducing yourself via a story and submit it to ILLUMINATION. Writer bios are important for your visibility. Another editor curated writer biographies on ILLUMINATION-Curated to introduce to a new audience. This version is easier to use.
We created a new community in Reddit. Reddit is a large platform that may create substantial visibility to your stories. Details are in this post. Please feel free to share as many story links as you want on Reddit. There is no limitation. Our aim is to bring more readers to your stories.
If you want to repurpose your Medium content by publishing on other platforms and monetising your content, please contact me on Slack. I will get you started. I have helped many writers begin with Vocal Media and News Break. They are now monetising content on these platforms and building new audiences. Vocal is a low hanging fruit. You can create an account and start repurposing your Medium content and earn income. I also suggest you apply for News Break. Here is the link to the application form. As some of you already contribute, we have a specialised publication for freelance writers, editors, and bloggers, aiming to bring all writers who write about writing in one place. It is called SYNERGY. The publication is growing rapidly. It has received great acceptance by many top writers, and Medium has curated many stories. Details of SYNERGY are in this article. My vision and goal are to see all our writers grow and become successful with meaningful and productive collaboration. By leveraging each other’s network, we can grow faster and reap many benefits. And let’s remember the universal principle: “the more we give, the more we receive”.
I have a clear strategy and roadmap for your growth on Medium. I integrated all publications. Our new venture is called ILLUMINATION Integrated Publications (IPP). We are a big community now. Many top writers from PS I Love You publication joined us recently.

I highly recommend all writers create their own publications. We compile your publications and promote them in our circles. For example, I started my personal publication called Transhumanism Leadership to host my special stories. It gives me an opportunity to share my specific content for my target group with a single link. You can also host your stories in our publications to gain new readers and create a short form of your stories on your personal publications. This approach can expose your content to a broader audience and increase your followers.
